Is there a way to put the contents of the Internet History Folder directly into the Favorites Folder?

My brother's laptop recently got a nasty virus and he does not want to loose six months of research in the History folder. Rather than going into the History tab and clicking onto every site he has been to and then clicking on "Add To Favorites" is there a way to "import" all those links into the Favorites folder? (And yes, we were able to find someone to get rid of the virus. After this, he has finally decided to listen to me and start Bookmark things into the Favorites folder.)

unfortunately there isnt.
although it's not much help now, i have found it useful to save a copy of the exported fav list just in case.
