Why isn't my laptop recognizing my friend's SD card?
My friend took pictures of a prank that we did on a friend of ours and I wanted to take some of those pictures and post them on Facebook (after our friend has seen the prank himself).
But it doesn't recognize it. It's a SanDisk Ultra, 8GB. It can usually read SD cards but it's not reading this one!

Is the cards format different from your computers operating system.If it is your pc won't read it.DON'T reformat the card you will lose data.

I've had that happen before and the solution was as simple as removing the card and putting it in again slightly faster. Then the computer recognized it.
