How can I get publishing and distribution on a low budget?
I'm almost at the finish of writing a book. All resources I checked out go beyond my income on SSI. The interest level would be high if I could only get it distributed. I've approached periodicals, writing schools, self-publishers, contests and so on. I'm not interested in seeing myself in print, I need to get paid for what I write these days so I can pay my bills, eat a proper diet and get off food stamps. Suggestions?

Getting a title published for the Amazon kindle can be a winner, print on demand services allow you to offer a physical book without expensive printing runs, earning a certain degree of prestige with minimal expense, you have to pay the $200 for an ISBN#, one advantage of a physical book, you might show up in certain indexes, like Google books.
One of the better known Online Print On Demand Publishers - they also handle drop shipping to USA (overseas orders cost considerably more) is http://www.Lulu.com/ Bridgeport National, USA http://www.bnbindery.com/POD.htm Anthony Rowe is the largest print on demand publisher for the UK and Europe: http://uk.cpibooks.com/self-publishing/ Ads |
