Would you recommend using Ebay?
The prices are much nicer when compared to other online sites. Is it worth getting into the bidding craze?

I would recommend ebay most definitely. You can find many neat items. Lots of vintage and collectible stuff as well
it is pretty easy and safe to use. I like to check out sites like this one here that have a lot of different items to choose from >>> http://stores.ebay.com/1-BOOKS-ELECTRONICS-MUSIC-THRIFT

years ago I would have recommended ebay for both buying and selling, but they changed and the rates became too high for sales, especially when ALL the fees are considered. and they started nickel and diming you to death

just recently another incident with ebay says it is not a safe place to buy either--here is what happened - my wife bought something there for about $100, she paid for it immediately by paypal and was waiting for the delivery.

5 days after the purchase, ebay sends her an email stating that the item she bought, the listing had been removed and that she should go through a process to get her money back.

she called them (same phone # as paypal) and was told by ebay staff they could not help her since the listing had been removed. she was on her own. She sent an email to the seller, advising them of the situation, they were not sure why this happened, but confirmed that ebay had removed the listing.

The merchandise arrived, the seller was honorable---but ebay refused to explain to the seller why the removal, ebay refused to help my wife because they had removed the listing and quote "WE CAN'T HELP YOU".

We have lost ALL trust in ebay, and will no longer buy or sell there. It is now a place of 'BUYER BEWARE' of ebay!

eBay has always been my favorite. Its not only the top online web store but also the most trust worthy of them all.
