What does >>> and <<< mean on twitter?

I always see people using >>>>>>>> and <<<<<<<< and I don't get what it's supposed to mean?

I guess it means that the information that they have tweeted is not complete. It may be bcuz they want to hide it,or they want the readers to bcum curious about it. Then they complete the information in there next tweet... Hope this helped

it's like math symbols. if i say "pizza > fries", i'm saying that i like pizza more than fries.

if someone just plainly says "pizza>>>>" they mean they just really love pizza and if they say "fries<<" they mean they really hate fries (:
