Percent Tile Ranking?

Your teacher gives a ranking of each student in the class.
You find out that your ranked 291 out of 1000 people.
With 1 being the highest (highest mark in the class), calculate what percentile you belong in.

"Percent" just means "per hundred".

"Out of" just means "divided by"

If you are 291/1000, you are 291 divided by 1000, or 0.291, which is 29.1 percent.
