What can you do with Facebook Pages and Profiles?

What are the limits of what you can do with a Facebook or Twitter account, for marketing, beyond simply posting a few pics and a couple of lines of info?
I remember that MySpace (remember THAT one??) allowed you to customize your profile seemingly without limit. You could slip a little html code in to do cool and interesting things.
Is there a way to do anything dynamic like that with FB or Twit?

Theres loads you can do with your Facebook.

There are Groups to participate in, Games to play, Pages to Join, Facebook Layouts for your page, LOADS!
