Why do people spend majority of their on facebook?
This particular man... Is 35 year old. he have a 9 month old daughter. He comes home from work, plays with her for 30 minutes then the rest of his time on facebook? He said that is what people do. Stupid... That time should be spent with his daughter... We had several conversation about this and he simply ignore it.. To be honest... I don't find anything entertaining about posting my life on facebook, picture of myself, family and befriend my ex's...I have no DESIRE to waste my time on a computer. when I can use my time more productive.. I'm I the only one who feels this why?

You are not the only one but you are surely in minority of them specially in location where you live.
In the third world social networking is not so in domination, though its gaining ground.

Its a useless virtual life and is for those who run away from their social and homely responsibilities.

You are doing the right thing by keeping yourself away from it. It only teaches you to make Just any Statement, to become Self trained astronaut who feels he/she is master of all (but good for nothing), teaches you to repent and show sympathy but never do action.

what can i say more, you are more knowledgeable than me to understand.

Your not alone. I have a Facebook page and a ton of friends that post stuff but, I never use it. Corporations make it annoying as well. You always have to like us on dacebook and then you got the people playing the games using your name to get their games. So you get messages like Bob invited you to play slots. Facebook is a waste of time and an annoying marketing tool.

Waste of time. Shoot a text or phone call, I could care less about some stupid pic you cut from the net. I don't want to meet an acquaintances friend or people I may know.
Its the same reasons I don't tweet. Twitters just as stupid.
But this is where society is heading. Complete waste of time. I'm a 33 yr old man with 2 kids. Between my job, my kids, my wife and my interests outside my house I have no time. If I were a senior and couldn't get around as much, I can see some use for it but I'm not. I prefer to live my life in the real world, not on some web page created in peoples images. My kid goes on sometimes, I ask her, what are u doing, she replies, talking to her friend on Facebook. Wtf, her friend lives two houses down. Its 4pm. Go outside and talk to her

Well some of the people who spend all day on facebook are people who are depressed or unhappy and have no friends who want to do anything with them. But there are those people who just waste time on it because they don't want to do anything at all in there life.
