If you're looking for free exposure, you have SEO (where you build a website and increase its popularity), Local SEO (where you claim all your local listings in various places), and social media (where you create profiles and fan pages. For paid advertising, you can try Pay per Click, Banner ads, Email marketing, and Affiliate Marketing. Of course your question is which one is the best.. the answer lies in your situation. The results vary from person to person and you will need to try them first to understand which one works for you best. What I've mentioned are just a few of them. A good market research opens the door to much better options suitable to your needs.

Well the fastest way is Pay Per Click advertising. If you have a budget of a 1000$ a month, I recommend Google Adwords. If not I reccomend smallest networks like 7search, looksmart, bidvertiser.

You can see a big list of all the Pay Per Click networks below

First thing I would do is a reputation analysis to see if there is any negative comments out there. If there is, fix them first and foremost. Then I would come up with a press release strategy on services. Since today social media is very powerful, I would do all the profile creation and optimization of the most popular social sites...don't forget to tell their story on social media, most try to sell when they should be providing answers and value to potential customers. Next, set up all the NAP's (name, address, phone number) in local seo and submit to all the appropriate sites. This is not an over night job. They need to understand that 6 months is a good time frame to start seeing organic results. This can be done by yourself, or if you do not have the time or just not sure how to do it professionally, hire someone to do it for you. Either way, it needs to be done. Good Luck!
