This error message on Illinois Lottery website?

I'm trying to buy lotto tickets online. Every time I put in my personal info for checkout and try to proceed, it says:

"Please verify your personal information. The system is trying to verify your identity and there is an issue with the information provided. Pay close attention to your date of birth, address and phone number."

Needless to say I have checked and rechecked and everything is accurate. What is this? So annoying

First make sure you are on the proper site which is:

https://www.myillinoislottery.com/en-us/...lotto.html

note the https and the lock - and not some phishing look-alike site. The problem I have had (not on lotteries) in checking out on certain sites is that you have to have your name spelled EXACTLY as it is on the credit card. That includes the middle initial if it is present.

One site I was having problems with told me, after several phone calls, was that, on their site, I had put an extra space after the city name! I asked if they could fix it and they told me no and I had to come up with a different form of payment. That is how ridiculous some of these sites get.
