New profile privacy settings?
Have you noticed that you can't allow friends AND people who are in your network who are non-friends to see your profile?!
Facebook has changed its privacy to only two options: just friends or friends and friends of friends. I think this is lame because it makes it harder to find people new to facebook on your network. What do you think? Do you like this? Would you risk allowing ALL of your friends' friends to see your profile or not? Oh yeah it may be just for users under 18...ugh Ads |

Um, what are you talking about? Under my profile privacy settings, I am still able to set it so that "My Networks and Friends" can see my profile. Are you under 18? Maybe they set it so you only have 2 options in order to protect you. Facebook (and MySpace) are really trying to crack down on privacy settings for minors, especially after that whole incident where a Mom made a fake MySpace and messaged her daughter's ex-friend, which resulted in the 13-year old girl committing suicide.

I wouldn't risk having everyone being able to see your profile, after the incedent wiht the teen girl as the other poster mentioned... Like in myspace, people can still contact you and find you through "find user" tab, but they cannot see your profile, but they can see your default picture, so if someone is looking for you try setting a default that is a very reconisable picture of you, and that doesn't have you somewhere off in the background. well hope I hepled, -Tori
