Facebook: What does "Content posted to Pages is public information and is available to everyone" mean?
I am helping someone set up a Facebook page for their small photography business and this was in the terms and conditions.

that means that if someone posts something on your pages wall, be it a note, video, photo, etc.
it will be available for everyone to see, so not just you and not just the people that liked the page, anyone will be able to see what they have posted. Ads |

That's the obvious part -anyone can see it.
The more a-hole part on the side of Facebook is the part that says that whatever you post on Facebook, you transfer the ownership of it to Facebook and they can do whatever they want with it (so make sure your friend puts watermarks on photos that he puts on Facebook). On the other hand, Facebook does pay for the servers, so they do deserve rights to things on their servers. |

It means this information will be seen by anyone, but you can change it and limit it by changing your privacy settings.
