Can't change twitter username?

I've been trying to change my username on twitter and I have no idea why it won't let me. I'm entering my password correctly and the username I'm trying to get is perfectly fine. It's just when I submit my password my username goes right back to what it is now and doesn't save. I've tried logging off and on and on different computers but nothing's working.

Give accurate password after modifying the username.

May be your browser problem.. Try logging in twitter and changing your username from there. If it doesn't work you may have to contact twitter support.
