None of my bottom line is responding and hasn't been for quite some time. I mistakenly assumed that it was yet another Yahoo screw-up that would eventually fix itself, but NOOOOOOO! It seems to be impossible to reach a "Customer Care" (that's a total oxymoron if ever I heard one) human being. Somebody PLEEEEEEEASE help. Thank you!!!

When features and functions of Yahoo Mail are not working, this usually indicates an issue with your web browser. Older web browsers and slow internet connections such as dial up will also impede the functioning of Yahoo Mail. Please consider upgrading your web browser, upgrade to broadband or switch internet providers.

You can try switching to basic mail. Basic is similar to an early version of Yahoo Mail Classic. It's very simple design is easy to use but is lacking many advanced features only available on full featured.

To switch to basic mail:

On your Yahoo Mail page, hover over the gear icon in the upper right corner
Select Settings
Viewing email
Basic
Save

Clear your cache and cookies and make sure you are using a web browser that is compatible with Yahoo Mail. You may need to upgrade to a newer version of your web browser or you could try switching to a different browser. For a list of web browsers that support Yahoo Mail and links to upgrade your current web browser or download a new web browser please see this Yahoo Help page:

Web browsers supported by Yahoo -- http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=cont...=PROD_ACCT

Some features of Yahoo Mail may not be working due to JavaScript issues, add-ons or Firewalls. For more information and instructions on how to troubleshoot and correct these problems, please follow the steps in this Yahoo Help page:

Fix browser and feature problems on Yahoo -- http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=cont...=PROD_ACCT

Some web browsers have advised users to enable SSL - also known as HTTPS - in your mail settings:

Go to Yahoo Mail, hover over the gear icon in the upper-right corner
Select Settings
Select Security
Check the box next to "Always use https"
Click Save
