how to get followers on tumblr?

I've been on it for like two weeks now but still don't have that many followers (I have two lol) so how do I get more followers? My blog is thatpegicornswag.tumblr.com fyi.

aw don't worry, it's not just you, it takes forever to get followers because tumblr is such a big website with lots of users. i've had my tumblr since july 2012 and i just started gaining a lot of followers recently

here's how you can get more followers:
-reblog/like a lot of people's posts (they might follow you after they see you in their notes)
-post a lot of original content and tag it with loads of (relevant) tags
-you can search up "follow for a follow" and follow people who'll follow back
-ask people for follow backs
-share your tumblr on other social media sites (THIS IS THE BEST ONE)
-talk to people, whether its by replying, asking, or reblogging stuff and adding a comment

First thing, blogs that are less than 2 weeks old don't show up in searches yet (it's an anti-spammer measure) so just be patient.

Second, follow people and reblog them. Third, use descriptive tags so people can find what you post.

It all works out in time if your blog is at all interesting. I like your blog -- though you must change the default theme so people don't think yours is one of those vacant follow-everyone Tumblrs -- and just keep posting neat stuff as you have.

try to follow as many people as possible. some will follow back and if they don't you can simply unfollow if you like. DO NOT unfollow people who follows you, even they post spam, you'll risk getting unfollowed.( but if you don't mind you can unfollow that person) beware of people who unfollow you right after you follow them back(FAKE FOLLOW BACK )anyways, post original content. make gifs out of videos(funny, meaningful etc) and take pictures. write original text posts too, mostly funny and relatable posts get noticed. if you get noticed, you have a high chance you will gain followers. ask your friends to follow your blog too, unless you don't want them too see it. oh, also if you reblog or like a lot of someone's posts, (s)he will notice you unless (s)he is super popular and get tons of notes everyday. that way the person will notice you and may follow you. people of similar interests may follow you back if you follow them.( they look at your posts to see if you're worth following)
