I want to do some marketing for my company and our products. And I wonder if it is ok to send some one a couple of free samples and then pay him a small amount of money and in return get a video review made?

The FTC.com days that fake paid endorsements are illegal, it's OK to pay a start $100k for an endorsements after they have actually used the product, what is truly in a persons mind is not always decernable by authorities, you can find people who will do a review video on any product for $5 on Fiverr.com.
There should be a way to compensate a customer for their time, say you get one to shoot videos of their vacation you arranged, that may be a considerable undertaking on their part. Ads |

Yes it is if you follow the guidelines set out by the federal body. You will just have to provide copies of your product as a complimentary basis, have the person actually use and test and write a paid review.
