EBAY: Is it possible to close an account and start a new one?
I have an account where I have sold about 8 things.
I am in the unlucky position where 2 of the sales were to people who blatantly lied about the condition of the goods upon arrival. 1 of them tried to blackmail me for a partial refund, filed, a complaint, then withdrew it after realizing they would never win (no proof). Regardless, 2 of the feebacks I have received are EXTREMELY bad, and ebay won't remove them because of some loophole in the terms of service specific to Australia. Please let me know if it's easy/possible to start over with a new account (thinking about paypal integration also). Thanks. Ads |

You don't need to close the first account. eBay members are allowed to have more than one account, as long as you don't do anything stupid like shill bid yourself or evade other sellers' account blocks.
But think about it. Is this your solution every time you get negged? If 25% of your sales have resulted in negs, you need to make some changes other than your account. |
