My SD card isn't working, please help!?
My new SD card on my Samsung Galaxy Ace isn't working! I previously has a 2GB sd card that came with it, but I just bought an 8gb because 2 wasn't enough.
So I turned off my phone to swich them around and when I turned it on, it scanned the sd card as usual, and in my task manager it says that there is 7.43gb left in it. I tried to install instagram and snapchat (Which i could do on my 2gb card) it said that there was insufficient storage available?! Please help

full format your card then insert it again.

|
You don't need to turn your phone off to change memory cards, just dismount it under "Storage" and remount it again when you've put your new card in. You shouldn't need to format it though, it should already be formatted. If that doesn't work, pull your battery and replace it; the phone should find the memory card automatically.
