Sounds like you have your work cut out for you.
Of course scripture is always best. Start her off with these: 1Pe 3:3 Don't be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. 1Pe 3:4 You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God. 1Ti 2:9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; 1Ti 2:10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works. 1Jo 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Ads |

One book that will be a blessing to all is a devotional that has a scripture and a daily message, thought and prayer and it is called the 100 Days of Right Believing by Joseph Prince, a true minister of God...you can get it at his site or Amazon and possibly any Christian book store
Here is an excerpt of it http://www.amazon.com/100-Days-Right-Bel...+believing |
