Why can't I add photos on tumblr??

Why can't I add photos on tumblr??
I cannot add photos to a new page on tumblr. I click the camera symbol and select my photo but it doesn't appear!!!!

sometimes it does that. Try doing it and then clicking save even if the picture doesn't appear. Go back to the page a couple minutes later and the picture may show.
