What service should I use to put adverts on my website?

I am in charge of a university society website called Canvas, and we are looking to monetize our website. We've tried AdSense, but because our website (http://canvas.union.shef.ac.uk/wordpress/ ), which is unsuitable for AdSense we are unable to use the service.

In fact, most of the providers that we've used have tried to use to place adverts on the site have not allowed us to use the http://canvas.union.shef.ac.uk/wordpress/ site, and when we use the main URL which redirected we are told that this is also inappropriate.

I was wondering if anyone has had a similar issue, and if they could recommend any AdSense alternatives.

chitika and bidvertiser are good alternatives but I'm not sure if there will allow redirects. You may also go ahead with CPA offers or Affiliate products.
