can i buy something with my ebay account and use someone elses paypal without them knowing what im buying?
my brother has said he will pay for the item for me if i give him the cash but i dont want him to know what im buying....is this possible or does paypal keep records?

You will have to use your brothers eBay account since that's the one with the PayPal account attached. Many sellers will refuse payments from a different account since they lose their seller protection that way.
