PULSE on Internet Explorer?
I like to read news on PULSE.ME website and I use IE. It was all working great, until recently when the browser got upgraded to version 11. Surprisingly it works in my home PC, which also has IE-11, but PULSE doesn't work in my work PC. When I say it doesn't work, I mean to say that the tiles don't respond to my clicks. I don't understand why it works at home, but not at work. I even downgrading to IE-10, but when I removed the update, I was left with IE-8. I don't understand how that happened, but anyway, has anyone faced a similar situation? How to fix it? Is any setting preventing IE from running Java scripts? Also, pls don't ask me to switch to Chrome or FireFox. I have my reasons Smile

I assume you mean Javascript which is diff from Java.

That can be enabled in IE in Tools, internet options, security, highlight internet icon @ top, custom level, scripting, active scripting.

For Java, type it in Start's search box and goto the java control panel return.

I use IE10 and keep java disabled for security reasons. I have javascript enabled.

I put windows update on Notify me, but don't download. I check it daily for security updates, etc.

There's usually an update for Microsoft Security Essentials every other day.

MSE is Microsofts built in anti vir & firewall for Win7 and 8.
