Forums-Domain name, help?

I'm looking to setup a Forum. But with my own domain name, so I am gonna purchase a domain name from somewhere, ( not sure where the best place is to purchase one ) and then I need a good forum creator and hosting service. I don't expect the domain name to be free but my question is, what's a good forum creator with a good hosting service ( free or not ) and I can use my own domain name for it? And where can I purchase a domain name for a reasonable price?
