I have a question about facebook security?
when someone tries to sign into some one else's facebook account. sometimes facebook asks for a their birth date to make sure that they are not hackers.and if they answer incorrectly and fail to log in,the next time the real owner logs into her account will be informed of their effort.and says that someone has tried to log into your account.
my question is what if they know your birth date and answer correctly and get to your account.will the owner still be informed ? or facebook will get confident that they are no hackers and just doesn't inform the real owner after that?

The purpose of the questions is to determine if the user is the account owner. If the user is not the account owner, but answers the questions correctly FB will let them in -- as far as FB is concerned the user is the account owner.

If you are concerned that someone has accessed your FB account you should change the password -- and do NOT let you web browser remember it!
