Second account on Twitter?

So I have a normal account for myself on twitter. I want to add a second account with a separate email. There is an option on my mobile twitter app to switch between accounts. If I add a second account, will my followers on my main account see that I have a second? Or will it be completely separate and only I know that I own both accounts?
