How to access my Text + account....?

My child decided to drop my phone outside the car window when we were driving.. leaving me now officially with no contact to anyone.I really just want to check my text messages and see if I've gotten anything from my boyfriend (considering he's two-thousand miles away). However, I use Text+ to contact him, and being on a Pandigital tablet I have to download the app. I tried, and it won't let me. I cannot find any ways to check it There has got to be some way Please help
