How can I start getting sales and more traffic on our website?
Our site is http://powersportsunleashed.com/ We have had the site up for a couple months with very little results. I don't know if its because people don't like the site or if it is something else? Idk but, please take a second to check it out and if you have any advice please let me know.

First of all I don't know what advertising, SEO, social media, etc. you are doing to try to drive traffic to your site. That probably has a lot to do with it. But just looking at the site itself, frankly, it's like looking at any page in an auto parts catalog which is totally boring unless you're a fanatic of that stuff or in need of a part. Nothing on the home page is exciting or remotely interesting. And the name of the site is a little unclear. The first 2 items shown are a gasket kit and a lighting kit. How the heck does that have anything to do with "power sports unleashed" ? Also the photo of the shop that stretches across the top is too horizontally stretched out and looks weird. I think your site needs some re-conceptualizing to make it more appealing. And also you're going to have to spend some money on advertising.

Your site looks ok. Try SEO and back linking.

Make sure that the content (product descriptions, etc) is unique and not copied verbatim from the supplier's online catalogue - otherwise Google will penalise this as duplicate content.
Add some compelling reason why people should register - at the moment there's no reason why I should.
Add a blog - write something original once per month & promote that via Twitter, Facebook, etc
Use PPC - at the outset, while you're developing your profile, use AdWords to get some cash flow.
Look at the competition - learn from what they are doing.

It looks like your exact description for Tusk UTV Vertical Flag Mount 2 appears on the internet many thousands of times, (try searching the first sentence or 2 inside of quotes) the sort of duplicate content like stock catalog descriptions is something search engines don't like, you need to use original text to help your site get better search ranking. Loading up on articles on the sport can be a big search rank booster and brings people within 1 click of the store section.

The bread and butter of search engine ranking (and resulting 'free' traffic is 'backlinks' from other sites, one tool reports seeing 3 links total from 2 other sites, it's reasonable for a new site to seek out about 3 new links a day, ideally they would be gust articles on related sites, realistically some will have to be blog comment links and forum posts.

Here's a Search Engine Optimization primer by an SEO authority, too much of the stuff taught by others is out of date or simply inaccurate.

Hi Harvey,
As per SEO, we didn't get the results instantaneously. We have to wait for some time to attract the visitors. It may take some time to get some results. Do SEO to your website regularly. Hope my answer will helps you and all the best.

Not sure this is relevant but the image at the top of your site took a while to load. It might load much faster if it's in .jpg 72 dots per inch format. People may be leaving the site bc it takes too long to load. Hope this helps
