CSS compression is a spamming technique?
During website re-constructing, i place CSS and Javascript files in External GZ format such as "css/home.css.gz". Consequently, the website displaying properly, but in google cache displaying negatively.
According to the google laws, actual website appearance and cache must be same, otherwise it takes as spamming.
So CSS compression is a spam technique? see my website css structure : immigrationquestion.com

Google is sensitive to possible "cloaking" techniques that may be showing their spiders a different version than regular visitors. Compressed files might be an obstacle to their spiders which examine raw code, they don't view a browser screen.

I have to wonder about the gains from compressing code, is it that much of a performance booster, do all browsers recognize it?

Here's a tool to view your site through several browsers
