Hi Yamuna,

To make your Facebook profile private, meaning only your friends or special users can view your profile, follow these steps below...

a.) Log on to http://www.facebook.com/

b.) Click on the gear box located at the top right of the Facebook homepage, then click on Settings

c) On the left hand side of Facebook should be tabs, look for Privacy and click on it

d) Edit your privacy settings to your liking
