I need some good ideas to creatively market my wedding stationery business?
I've done the wedding fayres, hoping to appear in a magazine shortly, put my link on various wedding sites and linked up with other wedding businesses. I've got a facebook and twitter account which I update regularly. I'm now stuck for ideas on how to market my wedding stationery. I want some really creative ideas for as little money as possible. my website address is http://www.miasirena.com

Hi, The cost of a wedding is increasing even for the most modest of events and couples are looking for way's to still have a memorable time for all the right reasons while trying to reduce the budget.
What could you do to help? How can you give the added value for money package without lowering your quality or service standards? Do some research with first time couples planning their wedding and those first timers who have already married but who may not have used wedding stationery. Find out from them what their views are and look for an angle in their replies. Take a look at the couples who are getting married for the second time and see what they think of using your stationery. Maybe look at doing a bulk deal, girls of a similar age marry around the same time as their girlfriends maybe you could offer a club together deal. Expand your advertising to other locations that offer pre-owned wedding outfits and other wedding related services. |

Have you contacted local wedding planners to pitch them on your business? I'm getting married and our wedding planner blogs all the time about different vendors.

http://www.notebookinhand.com has a links section. But you have to join and participate a bit first. It hasn't got many engaged people there buuut, it's a public links section- anyone can see it.
http://www.notnegativenews.com Write a short article about something to do with weddings, and then submit it, using yourself as a source. Or comment with your link in your signature. Or summarise a news article you found on a theme that fits your shop. The articles are twittered out to about 900 people (and growing). |
