How to scale an image?
Say, I want to resize an image that is 259x383. I want the image to be of 200x200 but without messing up the ratio, you know, it looks weird if you don't maintain the ratio. Think how facebook used to let users "Scale to fit" in edit thumbnail option but now it doesn't.

Can you please help me with this?

you can't change the ratio (which is what you want to do by changing it from 259x383 to 200x200) without expecting the ratio to change...

you can have one of the sizes to be 200 but for it to "look the same" the other size would have to correspond correctly to the 200 and that isn't 200.

for example you could have 200x324 because it won't change the ratio

ORRR you could crop the image and get rid of the extra 124 in the example above - but you can't keep the whole image at 200x200 and not expect it to distort the image

Try https://pixlr.com/editor/
1. Open the picture
2. Click on image > image size and uncheck constrain proportions
3. Enter your size

Another way to scale the image is to press ctrl + T and resize it by dragging the corners
