facebook has a nice feature since october last year. you can update your status with added feelings, what you watch (tv programmes and films), what you eat, what you drink... etc etc....
i first tested a bit and it's a nice feature. however, when i delete some of the tv programmes i don't want to appear anymore by deleting their statuses, the tv programmes in question don't appear anymore in my list of watched programmes. perfect. the thing is i had 21 watched tv programmes in total, i deleted 8 of them, so that would mean the box on my fb timeline should say 13 watched tv programmes. it doesn't... it still shows a number of 21 watched programmes. is this just a glitch? or does it update automatically after some period of time? your guess is as good as anyone's - no one understands things like that, but chances are try are still tracking what you like so that they can advertise to you - that's how websites work - the more information they have about you, the more they can advertise to you and make money
when i saw the new feature, i thought.... yeah... i certainly wont be using THAT Ads |
