Internet explorers won't load?

So I have a gateway and just yesterday I try's to get on the internet but when I access internet explorer it won't work/load, my internet connection says it's working but the page just stays blank, help I need it to work for school

Try checking the connection setting and renew the ip configuration. Then connect again to the internet. It should work.

Get a USB drive and put a copy of a different browser on it. Internet Explorer is the universal worst browser ever sadly, although the newer versions are quite decent, I would recommend that you get Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

Get on a different computer (another PC, if you get on a Mac and transfer the file onto PC, it won't work as the versions of Firefox and Chrome for Mac are Mac only) and download Chrome http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ and put it on a USB. Then, when done with that, plug it into the computer that is having problems and drag the file onto the desktop and open it up.
