How do I make my domain show up in the web address instead of the host?
I bought a domain for my portfolio website and got it set up with my web host (which has the control panel).
My domain is harrattan.ca and the actual URL for it is http://harrattan.byethost12.com/portfolio/ At first, when I set everything up, harrattan.ca would only show, but I'm not sure what I changed to make it happen. On my domain registrar, there is an option to forward the domain to another URL, so I put the byethost address into that, and clicked the "cloak" option, which is supposed to only show the harrattan.ca part. In my cpanel, there is a "redirects" button under the domains box. I made harrattan.ca direct to the byethost link as well through this. Is there something else I can do? what am I doing wrong? @Locoluis I just removed the redirect, but now it shows something completely different. https://24.media.tumblr.com/21639a3d5404...o1_500.png Ads |

Most likely, you shouldn't have done this. Ads |

Just create a index.html and upload it. The default page will be replaced.
