Is Anonymous very safe?
So I was looking stuff up and saw Anonymous. and how they took down tons of websites. Can i be arrested for being associated with them or can i be caught for hacking and what are the chances of being caught?

It is not safe. They are supposed experts, mostly the use stolen passwords, not real hacking. If you join them you stand to get as much as 30 years in prison and an permanent criminal record. And they will not help protect you, in fact you are the kind of person they set up and sacrifice rather than getting caught themselves.

You cannot be arrested for supporting a group however if you partake in the illegal activity associated with anonymous you could very likely get arrested. Anonymous favourite tool is low ion orbit canon to dos or 'flood' a web server with packets this is easily traceable and very easy to prosecute you for. BE CAREFUL. FOLLOW YOUR OWN BELIEFS Smile

Because Anonymous is a loose, decentralized, anonymous association of non-sheeple-ized people who are interested in fighting the stealthy onslaught of elitists around the globe who are working to enslave the sheeple, no one who answers this question can definitively state anything about the group "Anonymous".

Having read your question, I can state firmly that you are not the sort of person who will ever be associated with "Anonymous" ... and you can rest easy in the knowledge that the powers-that-be know that you are not a participant in "Anonymous"-like activities.

What I'm saying is that if you're wondering whether Anonymous is "safe", then you have no understanding what Anonymous is about. Also, don't mistake propaganda (from either side) for truth.

Finally, if this question has the goal of getting the attention of any "Anonymous" people, it may or may not have worked. You'll know whether it worked if an "Anonymous" person contacts you.

Good luck.
