Network marketing question?

One of my Facebook friends I met online wants me to work part time for him. He says i'll be promoting a website that has millions of products that people use everyday, kind of like Amazon. What should I be expecting from this? Can I do this by using my computer or do I have to go out and do more stuff? I'd just like a little insight before meeting with him about this.

Truthfully if it is a friend, and he is doing this just ask him to show you the checks he gets. If he is actually making money at it then there's your answer. Not all MLM's are schemes but they are out there so you have to be careful and educated. It's good to be cautious but at the same time it's also worth while to talk to a friend, and if you aren't interested then just let him know it. The worst that could happen is he is stupid about it and you loose this friendship, the best you have a new job earning extra money.
