I need some help on internet marketing?
I need some help from internet marketing. I know I need to create a website for sell my own product, but how can I do it.. What goes hosting means? If I create a website from wordpress how to I get it live, so it can be found on the website? What does plugin means?

Oh yes, I have to buy a domain name... so where do I go from there?

Sorry, I know it may sound simple..but I'm new and have not a single knowledge on internet marketing.

Ok - here is situation.

Hosting is server where you upload files so everyone on the internet can see them. Plugin is extension to the WordPress that can extend WP to do lot of things didn't exist on standard WP. Yes - WP is ok now for site.

Domain name can be purchased from GoDaddy or NameCheap.

1. Based on your product going to sale, make a keyword research and get a handful of keywords (5 to 10 keywords preferable).
2. Buy a Domain name based on the keyword research from NameCheap, GoDaddy or Bigserver.
3. Plan the sitemap and design for your website either CMS or just simple pages.
4. Do it yourself or employ a web-designing company.
5. Get a shared hosting with GoDaddy or Exabytes.

Regarding Wordpress, it is a customized platform for blogging which needs intermediate level of technical expertise. Plugins are set of codes which gives additional functionality to your website.

The first thing you need to do is find a host. This might be someone like Blue Host, Dreamhost, hostgator, etcetera. There are lots of good ones. Once you find that site, they will give you the option to select a domain main. They will let you know if it is available and what it costs to purchase that domain from them. If you are still happy with this site, you can have them host your domain, which is very easy since you are already there. Once you have the hosting in line, it is possible for you to do a one step Wordpress install. This is a very common feature offered by hosts because so many people want it to be functional. Once you have these things you can go over to Wordpress and sign in with your domain name. You do not need their hosting. Once you establish an account that connects your domain name, you can start building a site that works with your host. It is pretty cool. Wordpress is great too. At this point you will go into WP and figure out which template suits your business. There are lots of free and paid options. Once you have a template and start populating it with your content, you might find it is deficient in an area. At this point, you will look at the plug-ins and see what you can add to improve functionality. There are a TON of plug-ins. All of this is really about getting your site up and running.

Once you have something you really like, then the marketing begins. The content you produce on a regular basis, usually in the form of blog posts, needs to be posted and bookmarked on other sites. You'll need to create social accounts and find people interested in your business. You'll need to reach out to bloggers to tell them about your site and business. You'll need to learn about Google adwords, analytics and keywords to help find traffic.

Build your site and slowly learn bits and pieces of internet marketing to help determine what you need to do. It will not happen in a day, but it will happen if you make the effort.

Good luck.
