how to deactivate a temporarily suspended facebook account?

My account has been temporarily suspended by facebook. Since I can't access it I am bent on deleting the account. Someone on yahoo answers told me that I can't permanently delete it but I can deactivate it. So can anyone tell me how to deactivate the account. In this regard please note that I can't log in into my account so please suggest me any other way that doesn't involve signing in into the account

Can either wait till the suspension is done and try and close it after or contact facebook support and ask them to delete your account
