can this happen with a torrent really worried 10 pts?
So i downloaded a game from an uploader on a site who is from the middle east. Im really worried now that he is tracking me from the download. The game is legit and it works but I'm worried he is tracking me now and he could somehow make my mac computer over heat and burn out causing it to emit harmful toxins when it burns that can cause physical harm upon me. Is it possible that he could cause my mac to become destroyed or he may cause harm upon me by making my macs hardware change or damage and making it emit harmful toxins or radiation? Can he do any of this whats the worst that can happen?

Downloading a cracked game with a possible malicious payload...then installing it. Yes he could possibly built in something to know your IP address, log your keystrokes, and make changes to your computer that could cause damage. It is very unlikely, but possible.

you are absolutely ridiculous. no this is never going to happen. Its common sense actually think about that for a second. Terrorists don't upload games to utorrent then blowing up your pc which then releases a chemical weapon. I think you should lay off the movies for a while.

The software is NOT legitimate if it came from an uploader. He can NOT affect your hardware. He could, and uploaders often do, have infected it with spyware. This means he could be watching every keystroke you make. He could steal banking details, credit card details or even steal your identity.

No. That sounds like someone is trying to scare you. Games can have viruses even if the game works though.
