firefox isn't working. If i download it will i lose all my favourites?

firefox isn't working. If i download it will i lose all my favourites?
Firefox refuses to start.Could someone tell me how to reinstall it without losing the favourites please?

If you Google, "Firefox bookmarks location," you will find detailed steps on how to back up your bookmarks. Then, you can uninstall and reinstall Firefox. You'll have to import your bookmarks before they're all back though.

Just Reboot and should start but if have to reinstall it then when delete it don't click or tick remove favs or whatever it says as it gives you an option
