Why did FACEBOOK become so profitable for the owners?

Ok i understand Facebook becomes a nice app which sustitute Messenger and can play some games and chat your friends etc etc. First of all, i think all the above reasons are stupids senseless activities which don't deserve my money.

Second, why did this website produced so much money on Zuchember and partners? I mean, i don't trust that bullshit of advertising anymore, open your facebook now and tel me if you have ever feel the need to buy something advertised there.

There is something wrong on all this, Zuchember has to be earning money for other reasons.

Facebook earns money by the ads mostly. The ads may not be clicked on, but the person who wants the ad seen pays facebook not by the number of people who click on it, but by the fact that it is being seen.

Facebook gets most of it's revenue from advertisements on the website. It's a lot of money and extremely profitable when that many people see them daily.
