Why are internet connections in some countries much faster than those in other countries?
E.g. what do they have in SK, Japan and Hong Kong that's different from New Zealand?

Because every country have different types of product being used some use Fibr as average or normal wirings as average, also they are different when it comes to ISP. Some countries have poor ISP resulting to low income thats why they are forced to use poor connection
