internet keeps disconnecting?

my 17.3 inch sony vaio laptop keeps disconnecting from the router... and its only affecting me.

whats causing the problem and how would i fix this problem?

I have seen this problem because it has happened to me. Each device on the network has it's own IP address. for some reason the IP address that your laptop is connected to is losing the internet. If you will reboot your modem and router that should take care of the problem for awhile.
