What are good places to attract clients?
I do family, baby, child, lifestyle, engagement portraits

Kijiji - I never get replies and if I do they are always very strange...I get more spam than anything from that
CL - worse than kijiji no replies just spammers
Facebook - spend tons in advertising but no replies
Google - have had some response...My favourite method so far
Posting on bulleting boards at childrens places - no response yet

Any other ideas ? Smile
I have a website and port Smile
I tried the paper with no luck =/
I've left flyers everywhere too haha

try not doing it online...

advertise in local newspapers...

send out flyers...

presumably you are wanting to do things in your local area...

Well, I made a Photography Facebook account and added a bunch of people that were mutual friends of my friends on facebook. I advertised that way and attracted clients. Do you track your web statistics with your advertising?

When you do advertising, are you looking at your click thru rate and using Google Analytics to view your ad performance as it relates to your website? Are you using Facebook Insights?

When you advertise to draw people to your website or Facebook page, you should be looking at their engagement. How many people are coming to the page, what is the average pages per visit, and how long are they staying on your site.
