Why does it seem like their are more teenagers on the internet than adults?

I teach for Cheltenham County Public Schools, it always seems that when I surf the internet for blogs and or questions, that many people who answer them are teenagers. On my facebook page most of my friends are under the age of 20. Do you believe that adults today should use the internet as well as the young teenagers?

The Internet is how many teenagers express their thoughts. It's an outlet for us too. The Internet can be consuming yet brilliant. I feel like many adults use the Internet, but they don't abuse it as much as younger people. Adults have their hobbies.

It's kind of sad for me to think that most teens now grew up with computers, phones... being almost too connected to the surrounding world. We've processed far more information at our age than 50 year olds did 35 years ago.

Depends where you go on the Internet. There are going to be more teenagers on websites that are targeted at them.

Maybe teenagers have too much free time and yes everyone should use the internet

I personally think that people over use the internet. Sure, most teens use it to socialise, play games and plagerize assignments, but adults use the internet in a less forward way. Many programs used in businesses use the internet, to travel you need the internet, to finance you need the internet, ect.

I think that all generations usethe internet different ways, and they excel in the way that they do.

well my dad turns 63 this year. He told me he remembers when computers came out and didn't think they were going to go far. It took me the longest time to teach him how to use a phone (not even touch screen), I'd say internet is out of the question.
