Why does AT&T internet suck so bad?

I've literally had it for about 3 hours and the connection has dropped at least 5-8 times within that time zone. I used to have Comcast and the service was fast and perfect but 120 a month for internet is too much... this downgrade is just terrible. Why?

Well, now days it is pretty tough. I am in Kentucky and I had to go through their sole provider which was Insight and they were bought out by Time Warner Cable. With both service providers, I had numerous dropped connections. Really, unless you can prove it to the provider, you can't get your money back for it. Just have to live with it. Personally, for you, you have the choice of changing your internet; but this is a prime example of "you get what you pay for."
