Should I trust this eBay seller?

Should I trust this eBay seller?
So I'm looking to bid on this item on eBay, but the seller seems rather fishy. He/she created their account only a few days ago and appears to have "power leveled" his feedback by buying cheap items (items that were a few cents). These strike me as clear indicators that this person is not a legit seller. Or perhaps he just a regular guy with no intention of doing anything fraudulent and just wanted to boost his credibility a bit before selling his item? Just wanted to poll around for opinions before I make a decision as to whether or not to bid. I have posted a link of his public feedback page for your viewing. Thanks in advance!

you're seriously going to buy something for $100 for runescape? O.O you're insane. I wouldn't go for it. It says he's been a member for at least a year but yeah, he's only sold 1 thing. You can probably find whatever you were going to buy from someone else. Don't risk it, it's too much trouble for you to fix stuff if it gets messy. Maybe just save him as a seller and see how his next few sales go.

I'm always suspicious of ebay sellers with very few sales. The buyers comments don't say anything about quality of article, shipping, packing, length of time getting to buyer etc. All important issues.

Even if the seller is new Ebay still makes the transactions safe with the disputes.

Check the shipping updates. If you don't get your product. Ask your seller what's going on. If they don't get back to you take it up with Ebay and they'll hold onto the money until the dispute is settled.

As soon as you get it thoroughly check it. If its not what was promised then put in a dispute with ebay and they'll freeze that transaction.

Ebay holds onto the money for a certain period of time, if there's a dispute they freeze it and don't release it until it gets resolved.

I've had to make a few dispute with new sellers because. They might've forgotten some details even if they didn't respond I would take it up with ebay and get my problems resolved that way. You just have to act fast.
