Starting a membership website where ppl will pay monthy fee to access videos do i have to register this 4 taxe?

I will charge for monthly access its a website my friend and I are doing we don't have like an actual business or anything but if this thing takes off and we start making money would that illegal since we aren't actual business. how would we report thee income if lets say money went to my account and I paid her
I am in the U.S and I guess my question is can we do this without having a established business name just keep track of all the money we make and pay taxes on it during tax time

The answer to your question depends on where you are located. If you are in the US, then you definitely have to pay for the taxes. Anything that earns money is a business.
