Youth especially can be very racist and hateful, I m disturbed by it?

So I'm 13 and if you're my age you've probably heard this kind of stuff so many times! Or even said it yourself! So today, I was walking behind a black guy and he accidentally bumped into someone who replied with,"F**king black c*nt!!!" I found this so offensive and it ruined my whole day but it's not just him almost everyone in my school says,"You look like you have downs syndrome" I find this so offensive, my little cousin had Down's syndrome and I couldn't be more proud. They also say,"You look retarded or special" and "that's just so gay!" I can't believe people just say this openly and other people find it funny! One day, these kids are probably going to be parents, I'd hate to think my parents had said these things and maybe their child will be born with a disability or Down syndrome then they'll regret everything they said. And people openly say to me I'm fat and expect me to find it funny, I'm ashamed to be human! What are your views on this?

I know the comments are hurtful but it's not going to end. You'll just have to ignore them.

If this is going on a school then there is a serious issue going on. Discuss the comments with a teacher you trust. Kids learn from their parents - But it doesn't make them right.

Kids your age are terrible and can be extremely mean to one another. They get it from siblings, parents, friends and social media. Pre-teens and teenagers have always been annoying. Doesn't matter what generation it is.
